The Brazilian Football Confederation has announced the timing of the announcement of the new head coach of the national team
The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) said in a statement that the announcement of the new national team coach will only take place in January 2023.
Earlier, Tite announced his resignation from his post after losing the quarter-final match of the 2022 World Cup with Croatia.
“I don’t even talk about this with my family, so neither of us is authorized to talk about the future of the national team. The entire process will be carried out with complete impartiality and with the necessary time and exploration of options,” said CBF President Ednaldo Rodriguez.
Tite, 61, has been in charge of the Brazilian national team since 2016. Under his leadership, the team won the 2019 America’s Cup.
