Santos didn’t make a mistake by not putting Ronaldo in the starting XI – Cassano

Former Italian striker Antonio Cassano supported the head coach of the Portuguese national team Fernando Santos in the decision not to put Cristiano Ronaldo in the starting lineup for the quarter-final match of the World Cup in Qatar against Morocco (0:1). The forward appeared on the field at the beginning of the second half.
Santos deserves respect as a coach and as a person. He chose the right decision in the situation with Ronaldo. There was no mistake on his part,” Cassano said on Bobo TV.
