Italian journalist and insider Gianluca DiMarzio spoke of interest in the striker Cristiano Ronaldo from clubs.
The only offer he received came from Al-Nasr. They already wanted him in the summer and now there’s an offer of two hundred million euros on the table for two and a half years. Cristiano really wanted to stay in Europe, but he didn’t receive specific offers from European clubs. Only from Newcastle, but the idea was that he could play there until June and then move on to Al Nasr. But I think it’s done.
He’s obviously not on contract, so offers can still come in, but I wonder if that will happen. At the moment only Arab teams are possible, for example from Dubai. In Europe he has no alternative. Yes, Sporting really wants to take him, but, of course, they cannot compete financially with Al-Nasr and other Arab clubs.
