“The commentator needs to reach a good level and try to stay on it as long as possible” – Trushechkin on his appointment to the 2022 World Cup final

Match TV commentator Roman Trushechkin spoke about his attitude to the appointment to the 2022 World Cup final in Qatar.

Trushechkin and Dmitry Shnyakin will comment on the final match of the 2022 World Cup between Argentina and France.

– Is it a milestone to comment on the World Cup final from the spot?

“I think it’s wrong to think so,” Sport24 quotes Trushechkin. – Often the system for evaluating commentary work is superimposed on the sports system, and the audience confuses us with football players. Those have movement up, tops – the Champions League, the World Cup or the European Championship. We are doing other work. We may have a crazy drama and intensity match between the teams of the second league, and the World Cup final will suddenly turn out to be viscous, where you commented on everything, congratulated the winners, but the game itself is a thing of the past, and no one will remember it from your work. We, the commentators, are not going to some point from which we can then roll. We need to reach a good level and try to stay on it as long as possible.

The match Argentina – France will be held on December 18 at the stadium “Lusail” and will start at 18:00 (Moscow time). Watch the live broadcast of the final on Match TV and Match! Football 1”, as well as websites matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru.
