Former Russian striker Andrei Kanchelskis shared his emotions from watching the World Cup match for third place between Morocco and Croatia (1:2).
— Croatia played much better than Morocco today, a well-deserved victory. They were initially the favorites in this game, the result is natural. The Moroccans had a lot of players out of order during the tournament. Morocco jumped above its head in this tournament, and experience decided against the Croats.
The Moroccan national team was not enough for the entire distance, but they are great fellows. Beating the Spaniards and the Portuguese at the World Championship is worth a lot! They showed the full power of African football – Kanchelskis “Championship”.
