The former head coach of the Russian national team Yuri Semin admitted to the “Championship” that at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar he was surprised by the teams of Saudi Arabia and Morocco.

I was very surprised by Morocco – a team that was amazingly prepared physically. It was a real team! Therefore, Saudi Arabia and Morocco surprised me,” Semin said.
The Argentina national team became the world champion. In the final of the 2022 tournament in Qatar, Argentine football players beat the French national team (3:3, 4:2 on penalties). The Saudi Arabia team did not reach the playoffs, the Moroccans lost to Croatia in the game for bronze medals.
