The Italian football club Monza was actively interested in the Russian striker Artem Dzyuba, reports Sport24.
It is noted that the owner of the club, former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, was interested in signing the 34-year-old player.
– The Russian striker and his representatives made it clear that he was considering proposals only from the RPL as a continuation of his career. At the moment, Italian clubs are not interested in Dzyuba, said a source familiar with the situation.
In November, Dzyuba terminated the contract with the Turkish club Adana Demirspor. In total, the footballer played five matches for the team and scored one goal. At the moment, the striker is in the status of a free agent.
