Henry believes Haaland can set a new Premier League record for goals in one match
Former France striker Thierry Henry believes that Manchester City striker Erling Haaland is capable of setting a new Premier League record for goals in one match.
The current league record is five goals per game. Andy Cole, Alan Shearer, Jermain Defoe, Dimitar Berbatov and Sergio Aguero have already reached this mark.
– I think he will score six goals for Manchester City, the team has a huge number of opportunities for scoring.
Can he score 50 goals in a season? Given all the competition, I think so. He can be compared to Alan Shearer, as well as Gary Lineker, Gerd Muller, Paolo Rossi and Pippo Inzaghi, Henri said in an interview with Amazon Prime.
Haaland has scored 18 goals in 14 Premier League games this season.
