Diego Maradona’s daughter Dalma has denied reports that she is suing Argentine striker Lionel Messi for using the M10 trademark.
Dalma and her sister failed to register this trademark in Uruguay. Some sources said Messi’s side is allegedly preventing the Maradona family from registering the brand.
“I can’t understand who is spreading rumors that I am suing Messi when it is clearly not the case. I don’t understand for what purpose. And the people who repeat this as the absolute truth bother me too.
No one, absolutely no one who published this, called me to find out if it was true. And you know what? This is not true,” said Dalma Maradona in social networks.
As part of the Argentina national team, Messi won the 2022 World Cup, Maradona became the winner of the 1986 World Cup. He passed away in November 2020.
