Former Krasnodar football player Maxim Demenko told RB Sport that he would not be surprised at the appointment of Serbian specialist Vladimir Ivic from Maccabi Tel Aviv to the post of head coach of Krasnodar.
According to YNet, Krasnodar is offering the Serb a contract with a salary of one million euros per year.
– It is clear that Sergei Nikolaevich (Galitsky) makes decisions in Krasnodar, but I think Storozhuk could be given another year to work. After this time, it would already be possible to understand what needs to be changed. I’m already used to resignations at Krasnodar and other clubs. For me, the arrival of a new coach Ivic is not surprising. Many are working against Storozhuk. There are such conversations and topics in clubs. Maybe Alexander Alexandrovich didn’t convince Galitsky,” Demenko said.
Krasnodar, having scored 25 points in 17 matches, went on a winter break, being in eighth place in the WORLD RPL standings.
