Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo is close to a transfer to Saudi Al-Nasr, according to CBS Sports.
According to the source, An-Nasr has already scheduled a medical examination of the Portuguese footballer. The club has booked accommodation for 37-year-old Ronaldo and his agents. The Saudis hope to complete the deal by the opening of the January transfer window. The transfer window in Saudi Arabia will run from 1 to 29 January 2023.
Earlier in the media it was reported that the parties are close to signing a contract for 2.5 years with a salary of up to 200 million euros per season, including advertising contracts.
In November, Manchester United announced Ronaldo’s departure from the club after his scandalous interview in which he criticized the club and former teammates.
