“I felt disgusting.” Ex-player of “Zenith” Lomberts told how he once got very drunk
Former Zenit defender Nicholas Lomberts told how he once had a stormy evening with friends and alcohol, after which he could not drive.
– Have you ever drunk heavily?
– Of course! I remember I was going to ski with my wife. The next day I had to drive for about ten hours. And the day before, I went out with friends and got so drunk! They walked all night.
The next day I need to drive, but I can’t. As a result, the wife drove the car for two or three hours. After that, we stopped at a gas station, I bought three energy drinks and somehow managed to replace it while driving. But I felt disgusting,” Lomberts said in an interview with Sport24.
The Belgian footballer played for Zenit from 2007 to 2017, becoming a four-time Russian champion and winning the UEFA Cup.
