People’s Artist of Russia Valery Barinov criticized the procedure for choosing Mikhail Galaktionov as the head coach of the Moscow Lokomotiv.

Galaktionov took over the club in November, signing a contract until the end of the 2023/24 season with an extension option. Previously, the specialist coached the Nizhny Novgorod “PARI NN”. According to media reports, the players of “Wings of the Soviets” Sergey Pinyaev and Maxim Glushenkov are close to moving to the camp of railway workers.

– I don’t think anything about Pinyaev and Glushenkov. I don’t understand where Lokomotiv will go next. Maybe the club needs these players, or maybe they don’t.
