Igonin named the brightest Russian football players of 2022

Former Zenit football player Alexei Igonin told RB Sport that Sergey Pinyaev, Andrey Mostovoy and Arsen Zakharyan were the brightest players of the year for him.
“There are a lot of young players this season,” Igonin said. – Last season or the year before last, there were no bright, promising players. It is quite possible that this is due to the new methodology for training young talents. These are only the first fruits, we must wait for the next ones. I would like to single out three bright players in 2022 – these are Pinyaev, Zakharyan and Mostovoy. They play an important role in their clubs. Good thing it’s not just one player. Previously, we called the young and promising, but after a while they were lost. Now Zakharyan, Pinyaev and Mostovoy are becoming leaders, defining figures in their clubs.
After 17 rounds in the RPL WORLD, Zenit is in the lead, followed by Spartak and Rostov.
