Pele passed away on Thursday at the age of 82 after battling colon cancer. Earlier it became known that the body of the Brazilian stopped responding to chemotherapy.

Pele was an order of magnitude higher than everyone else, and they called him the king! He is a unique person who could play not only individual episodes: he is a tactician, and a techie, and a strategist, and anyone – all rolled into one. And played at the top! Such a feeling was created that he was from a cat breed – so coordinated and easily oriented in the air, below, in front of you or behind your back. Pele is the only three-time world football champion (1958, 1962, 1970). He played 92 matches for Brazil and scored 77 goals. At the club level, the striker played for the Brazilian Santos and New York Cosmos.
