How is your political career going? Is there any continuation to be expected?
— I am still engaged in social activities: I help people, I fight for justice. As for politics, when I tried to get into the Moscow City Duma and the State Duma, I realized that there was a lot of dirt and a lot of things that were incomprehensible to me. But it is perfectly clear to those who have been cooking there for a long time. But in any case, this is a certain experience, certain acquaintances, certain PR. Nothing to regret. I try to help everyone and be an active citizen,” Bulykin said in an interview with Match TV.
He also recalled a conflict with CSKA defender Sergei Ignashevich during a match in 2004. The forward then played for Dynamo Moscow.
– I wouldn’t call it a fight – they just brushed each other aside. Referee Ivanov gave us a red card, and we were the main players of the national team, so it was not very good for the national team or for us.
