The Spartak coach asked the club to buy Benfica defender Tavares
Spartak head coach Guillermo Abascal has asked the management of the football club to buy Portuguese Benfica defender Tomas Tavares, Metaratings.ru reports.
Tavares worked under the leadership of Abascal in the Swiss Basel, the 21-year-old player is ready to move to the Russian championship.
The footballer played for Basel on loan in the 2021/22 season. In May, as part of the Swiss team, he was seriously injured, from which he is still recovering. In December, Benfica registered the player for the Portuguese Championship.
