Midfielder Mikhail Prokopiev, who played for the Amkal media club, told RB Sport about his move to the Bulgarian Botev.

– If they told me in the fall that I would leave to play in another country, I would not have believed it. But three games at the Russian Cup turned everything upside down. I don’t think I would have been noticed in media league matches.

Media clubs 2DROTS and Amkal also participated in this FONBET Cup of Russia draw, which beat two professional teams, and lost to the third, Zvezda, on penalties. Prokopiev took part in all three matches.

“A new life begins for me. I have nothing to compare with, because I have never played in professional clubs before. I think I have prospects at Botev, it all depends on me, – said Prokopiev.

20-year-old Prokopiev signed a three-year contract with the Bulgarian Botev in the fall.
