Russian coach Andrei Chernyshov told Vprognoze.ru about his decision to sign a contract with the Serbian club Radnichki.

– It’s like always something in football happens unexpectedly. I got a call from a familiar agent from Serbia, with whom we maintained constant contact. He said that there is an option with a club that plays in the first league, they had previously left the second. The president of the team has big ambitions and a new investor has appeared. The team will take on new players, the management wants to get stronger so that after the winter break they look much better

I signed a contract so far for six months, until the end of this season. I myself was the initiator of such a term. There are always some not that doubts… You always want to get to know people, get to know them. Talk to those you need to work with.

During the season, you can always extend the contract. For me, the contract has never been a binding moment. The coaching profession is such that you can sign a contract for at least 10 years, but when there is no result, the team will not keep the coach. Therefore, we agreed that we would work together for half a year, and then, during the season, look at how we fit together or not. Closer to the end of the season, we will talk about the future,” said Chernyshov.

Chernyshov in 2003 served as the head coach of Spartak Moscow. He also worked in Dynamo Tbilisi, Vitebsk, Dynamo Bryansk, Akzhaiyk in Kazakhstan, Sparta in Greece, Belasitsa in North Macedonia, and his last club was the Indian Mohammedan.

Radnički are 12th in the Serbian First League standings with 20 points from 19 matches.
