Former Russian national team player Igor Kolyvanov commented on the situation at Lokomotiv with the change of coaches.
– Whomever you put in Lokomotiv now, it will still be better. Do you believe (laughs)? In any case, they won’t spoil the picture – Lokomotiv screwed up in the first round. Of course, they will be able to save themselves from relegation from the RPL. But the way Lokomotiv played with its capabilities in the first round, you have to manage it.
Zorn worked “not bad” at Spartak, and then at Lokomotiv. Now he is looking for a job. “Great” come to us, and then no greatness remains. And the conversations were at the beginning … Let our specialists work better – they are responsible, modest and decent, ”Kolyvanov told the Championship.
In March, German coach Markus Gisdol left Lokomotiv, and the position of acting head coach was transferred to Dmitry Loskov. In April, the club appointed Zaur Khapov. In June, the Moscow team was headed by Josef Zinnbauer, after whose departure in October Andrey Fedorov took over. In November, Lokomotiv announced the appointment of Mikhail Galaktionov as the new head coach. The club went on a winter break, taking 14th place in the WORLD RPL standings
