‘The worst character I’ve known in my entire football career’ – Juninho Pernambucano on manager Ronaldo at Al Nasr

Former Lyon and Brazil footballer Juninho Pernambucano called Saudi Al-Nasr head coach Rudy Garcia the “worst character” he had ever worked with.

Juninho Pernambucano and Garcia know each other from working together at Lyon. There, the Brazilian served as sports director, and Garcia was the head coach. In late December, five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo signed a two-year contract with Al-Nasr.

“My experience with Rudy Garcia was terrible. Worst character I’ve known in my entire football career.

Garcia will not dare to do anything against Ronaldo. On the contrary, he will even serve Cristiano breakfast if necessary.

He will try to be his friend and will do everything possible for this. He will just dream of becoming Ronaldo’s friend. Rudi Garcia cares neither about the success of the team, nor about the harmony in the dressing room. What is important to him is that he is the center of attention, no matter what crisis happens.

But, like all people with a cold head, he recognizes those who are better than him, and tries to take advantage of them. Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the greatest football players in history, a legend, and Rudy knows it, Juninho is quoted by the Daily Mail with reference to Mais Futebol.

Ronaldo left Manchester United in November after a controversial interview in which he said he had no respect for the team’s head coach Eric ten Hag and also criticized the team.

Ronaldo’s salary at Al-Nasr, along with commercial payments and other income, will be $ 200 million a year.

Bulykin named the position that Spartak needs to strengthen

Former Russian national football player Dmitry Bulykin expressed his opinion on how Spartak could strengthen during the winter window.

What kind of player does Spartak need in the winter transfer window? First of all, another goalscoring striker. They are already in a good position and can fight for the championship, but due to the atmosphere in the team there were disagreements.

Now we need a good coach who unites them with a single goal and task. If I were in Spartak, I would find another goalscoring striker in the winter and fight for the championship.

Amorim explains Casemiro’s surprise substitution against Newcastle

Mentor Manchester United Reuben Amorim he said he replaced the midfielder Casemiro during the 1–0 win over Newcastle United because he felt the Brazilian would “struggle” with the intensity of the second half.

Casemiro and Manuel Ugarte formed United’s midfield duo in the absence of Bruno Fernandes, who missed the match with a hamstring injury, but Amorim replaced the Brazilian with Leni Yoro in the 61st minute.

After seeing his number on the substitution board, Casemiro pointed to himself and was disappointed with Amorim’s decision to replace him so early in the match.

Asked to explain Casemiro’s substitution, Amorim replied: “At that moment I didn’t want to shoot [Матеуса] Cunho because he is the only one who allows us to be creative and I put him in position number 10. Jack [Флетчер] it was fresh and could continue, Manu [Угарте] he was cooler than Casemiro. In the end we decided to replace him because they were making a lot of quick passes and I felt that at that point he would have difficulty.”
