The goalkeeping coach of the Russian national team Vitaly Kafanov called Nikita Khaikin’s desire to move from the Norwegian club Bode-Glimt to a stronger championship worthy of respect.
The Russian footballer has played 27 games for Bode-Glimt in the Norwegian Championship this season, and has become a free agent since January 1. Everton showed interest in the goalkeeper. It was also reported that Khaikin could return to Boude-Glimt, but later the club’s general director, Frode Tomasson, denied this information to RB Sport.
– Nikita Khaikin would like to change clubs and intends to challenge himself in a stronger league despite being a solid No. 1 at Bodø-Glimt, which deserves a lot of respect. I want to wish him to find a stronger club and become the first number there, – RB Sport quotes Kafanov.
