Marat Safiullin took over as president of Rubin

Rubin Kazan on its official website announced the appointment of Marat Safiullin to the post of president of the football club.
It is noted that the 56-year-old functionary also became the head of the board of trustees, the revival of which the Kazan club announced on Thursday. Since 2009, Safiullin has been the head of the Department of the Federal Tax Service for the Republic of Tatarstan.
On Thursday, Rubin announced the resignation of Rustem Saymanov from the post of general director of the club. The press service of Kazan also announced the formation of a new legal entity, ANO Football Club Rubin, which was created by a decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan. The powers of the founder of the organization are vested in the Ministry of Land and Property Relations of the Republic of Tatarstan.
