The transition of Spartak defender Nikolai Rasskazov to Krylya Sovetov could be a career restart for a football player, former Red-White midfielder Viktor Bulatov told Metaratings.ru.
– Various media, including Metaratings.ru, reported that Nikolai Rasskazov is close to moving to Wings of the Soviets. At one time, you also moved from Spartak to Wings of the Soviets. Is it easier to play in Samara after Spartak? Is there the same pressure and attention as when you are a Spartak player?
— Of course, the pressure is less in Samara. But here I would not talk so much about pressure, but about the benefits specifically for Kolya Rasskazov. While he cannot find himself in Spartak, this is a chance for him to restart his career, he is still quite young. It is from this point of view, I think, that this transition should be considered.
– Is this a good transfer for Krylia? Will he have a chance there?
– I think, of course, they will. There is less competition in the Wings. Some self-confidence should be that “I am a Spartak player.” Anyway, Krylia is a lower rank club, I think it has good chances to play.
When Spartak plays with three defenders, this does not quite suit Kolya. He is more suited to the four-back scheme that Krylya Sovetov is playing against. Even because of the scheme, it will be more convenient for Kolya to play, because he is not a central defender and not a lateral, but an extreme defender.
This season, Rasskazov has made 11 appearances in all competitions and scored one goal.
