Ukrainian specialist Alexander Petrakov became the head coach of the Armenian national team, the official website of the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA) reports.
Petrakov has been working with the national team of Ukraine since August 2021, but failed to bring the team to the 2022 World Cup. After that, the local football federation refused to renew the agreement with him.
In September, Spanish specialist Joaquin Caparros left the Armenian team. The duties of the head coach were performed by Roman Berezovsky.
The Armenian national team was relegated to Division C of the League of Nations, and the team is 89th in the FIFA rankings.
