Former Rostov defender Vitaly Dyakov, who now plays for BrokeBoys from the Medialiga, admitted to RB Sport that he would be surprised by the transfer of Artem Dziuba to Torpedo.

– And what is the risk of “Torpedo”? They have nothing to risk at all. They come last. I think that the more qualified players, the better.

– Do you think that Dzyuba will be able to help Torpedo?

– At this stage, yes. They will win, he will probably score. Still, he’s a great player. But can Torpedo be saved? Already too far away from the rescue zone.

– What should Dzyuba do to make his arrival at Torpedo justified?

– He took a risky step if the transition to Torpedo happens. Still, he is 34 years old. The attacker can still play and play. By moving to a team that is almost doomed to relegation, he just wants to show what he is ready for now, what his playing skills are. He will play, of course, trying to help Torpedo, but it will be very important for him to score as many goals as possible to show that he is still at the same level.

– Many people hastened to write off Dziuba after the failure in Turkey. For him, this is a great motivation to prove that they were wrong.

He had many difficulties throughout his career. When he moved from Spartak to Rostov, and then returned, then went to Tula and then played at the World Cup. Each time Dzyuba showed character. He coped with difficulties and came out 2-3 times better and stronger than he was before. Now Dzyuba has another difficult stage in his career, which I think he will overcome.

– The appearance of Dzyuba will not be a headache for the head coach of Torpedo Andrey Talalaev? Artem does not like and does not want to sit on the bench.

– What a headache for Talalaev? Torpedo is in a desperate situation. The more players, the more qualified, the better. I will be a little surprised if Dziuba goes there. For Torpedo for the joy of signing such a player. This is another chance for salvation. Still, the chances are very low.

– Isn’t it better for Dziuba to go to media football than to the 16th RPL team with a high probability of relegation?

– I think that later he will remain in media football. You can always go there, but then return to the level of the Premier League is unlikely. Dzyuba will always have time for media football if he wants to.

34-year-old Dzyuba previously left the Turkish club Adana Demirspor, in which he played 5 matches (220 minutes of playing time) and scored one goal. Now Dzyuba is in the status of a free agent.
