The sports director of Orenburg, Dmitry Andreev, told RB Sport that no one from Sevilla had contacted the club about a possible transfer of Vladimir Sychev, but the interest was from the Serbian Crvena Zvezda.
At the end of December, Sychevoi moved from Orenburg to Samara’s Wings of the Soviets. Earlier, the player’s agent Viktor Panchenko told RB Sport that Sevilla were interested in the forward before this transfer.
“I don’t know about Sevilla, I haven’t heard anything, they haven’t contacted the club,” Andreev said. – I know about Red Star, they wanted to buy it.
Was it serious interest?
Yes, they contacted us. We didn’t mind. But I understand that Vova did not want to go there. We could not influence anything, because we had a clause on compensation.
– Was Crvena ready to pay this amount?
– Yes, representatives of the club called, talked.
Who else has contacted you?
The Turks have turned. The situation is as follows: this is a three-way deal, there is an option with the amount prescribed in the contract, they offer it to us – then we do not participate in the negotiations. Then the club communicates directly with the player.
