PARI NN midfielder Yaroslav Mikhailov spoke about the process of concluding a contract with the Nizhny Novgorod club.

In September, Mikhailov moved to PARI NN from Zenit-2 on loan until the end of the season.

– In general, the story began in June. From Nizhny Novgorod they showed interest, I went to train with the team for a week, but then everything was cut short. I returned to St. Petersburg, and the management said that I would not go anywhere. Although it was planned quite differently. He began to train with the main team, but played for Zenit-2. However, Nizhny kept coming back and trying to pick me up again. At the end of the transfer window, I didn’t really count on anything. Yes, and Andrey Sergeevich (Arshavin) told me to play here for six months, prove myself and then leave. But I didn’t want to stay. Was set for a new challenge. At the end of the transfer window, history resumed again.

I remember that with Zenit-2 we went to the pool to play water polo. This is the penultimate day of the transfer window. Vladislav Nikolaevich (Radimov) calls me up and says: “You are moving to KAMAZ.” It was in the morning. I think everything. I knew that negotiations were underway with PARI NN, but I considered that they had failed. Several hours pass. And they tell me that there is still an option with “PARI NN”. As a result, the documents were signed on the last day of the transfer window. I came to training, ate with friends, then – home. Next – an invitation to the office. Arrived there at 9-10 pm. 30 minutes before the end of the day the papers were signed. Thanks to my agent Vasily Golyana and the perseverance of Pari NN: if not for them, it would hardly have been possible to make such a transition, ”Championship” quotes Mikhailov as saying.

This season, Mikhailov scored two goals and made four assists in 22 matches.
