Ararat-Armenia General Director Poghos Galstyan said that he would like to see former Spartak midfielder Denis Glushakov in the Armenian club.
Galstyan is the first coach of the 35-year-old Glushakov.
– Of course, I would like to see Denis in our club! We have not talked about this yet, but I am always glad to see and hear him on Armenian soil. Although Glushakov is in such good shape now that some Russian club will 100% offer him a contract. But if anything, Armenia is always open for Denis,” Galstyan told Sport24.
Glushakov terminated his contract with Khimki in January and is looking for a new team. At the end of the 2021/22 season, he scored 10 goals, entering the top ten scorers of the season – only the attackers are higher.
