Marseille defender Eric Bailly has been suspended for seven games, according to journalist Fabrice Lamperti on Twitter.

The French Football Federation (FFF) determined such a measure to a football player for a gross foul during the game of the 1/32 finals of the French Cup with Hyères. Bayi kicked the opposing player in the chest and received a direct red, and the victim was taken to intensive care.

The meeting took place on January 7 at the Jera field and ended with the victory of the guests with a score of 2:0. Bayi himself was initially suspended for two games, which he had already missed.

Marseille are third in Ligue 1 with 42 points from 19 matches.
