CSKA Football Academy coach Alexander Grishin shared his expectations from the performances of the army team in the second part of the Russian championship.
Based on the results of 17 rounds, CSKA ranks fifth in the Russian championship and is 13 points behind the leading Zenit.
“I expect a good game from CSKA in the second part of the season, victories and a fight with Zenit for the championship,” Grishin is quoted by RB Sport as saying.
– Do you think the army team will be able to resist the “Zenith”?
– If the team prepares well at the training camp, then the guys will succeed. As for transfers, it is up to the coach to decide whether he needs more players or not.
In the first match after the winter break, CSKA will play with Krasnodar in the ¼ finals of the Fonbet Cup of Russia.
