Russian striker Artem Dzyuba may continue his playing career in the Chinese championship. This was reported by the publication Calciomercato.
“The priority for the Russian player was to return to his homeland, but now his path lies in the direction of China,” the source said.
Dzyuba, 34, has been without a club since leaving Turkey’s Adana Demirspor last November. Information appeared in the media that the Russian would soon join Torpedo and sign a contract for six months, but the president of the Moscow club, Ilya Gerkus, denied this information, saying that the issue with Dziuba was closed and Torpedo was not going to sign the striker.
As part of Adana Demirspor, Dziuba played five matches and scored one goal.
