Ural announced that the friendly match with the Bulgarian Levski was canceled for reasons beyond the control of the Yekaterinburg club.

The meeting was supposed to take place on January 31 at the team’s winter training camp in the UAE.

– The official letter says that the meeting in Dubai is canceled “due to public pressure on Levski, primarily from the fans.” The team from Sofia asks for understanding of its decision and expresses the hope that it will definitely meet with the Urals on the football field in the future, the club from Yekaterinburg said in a statement.

Last week, another Russian club Krasnodar announced the cancellation of the match against Levski. Also, the Bulgarian club itself refused a test match with Spartak Moscow.
