Women’s football has been actively developing in recent years. Around the world, the number of sections for girls and women’s professional clubs is increasing, and at the same time, the audience of the corresponding tournaments is also growing. However, the difference in class between the women’s and men’s teams is still huge. This fact was once again confirmed by the recent game between amateurs from Amkal and the women’s team of Lokomotiv.

Alas, along with the technical superiority over the opponent, the guys showed the audience an amazing bad manners. In any case, the goalkeeper of the team showed himself from the worst side, having committed the rudest act with the score 10:0.

In a normal situation, a friendly match between a professional and an amateur club would not be fraught with great intrigue. However, in the case of the confrontation between Amkal and Lokomotiv, the alignment was different. The amateur bloggers, who recently made some noise in the Russian Cup, were the favorites for the meeting. Muscovites from the Medialiga were sensationally admitted to the tournament, after which the players showed that they were not much inferior to the pros from the lower leagues. Amkal first knocked Tver out of the cup, and then adequately lost to Zvezda, losing only in a penalty shootout.

Against the background of these local successes, it would seem that the women’s Lokomotiv looks much more preferable. Last year, the team took third place in the Russian Championship, and a season earlier, they won the treble, having won all domestic tournaments. Loko’s captain Nelli Korovkina became the top scorer of the Superleague three times: now the girl can safely be called the country’s strongest striker.

However, achievements in women’s football still do not correlate well with similar titles in men’s football, and Amkala’s game with Loko confirmed this. The guys scored the first goal already in the fifth minute, and the teams left for the break with the score 4:0. In the second half of the meeting, the girls did not have the strength to comeback, so their rivals began to swagger. At the 78th minute, the result became simply indecent: the railway workers lost 0:11.

It seems that by this moment the Amkal players had nothing to prove for a long time – the men could at least slow down and not bring the matter to uniform humiliation. However, the goalkeeper of Muscovites, as it turned out, was not disposed to the gentleman. When the girls managed to organize a good attack, Alexander Mamenko threw himself out of the penalty area – and knocked down his opponent with a rude force. After a hard collision with the goalkeeper, African McLean Chinonerem immediately found herself on the lawn: doctors helped her return to the game.

Of course, the rules did not forbid the Russian to treat his opponent in this way: he got out of the gate on time and was the first on the ball. But we are not talking about sports, but about the ethical component. Alexander had no need for such a dangerous game: the meeting was friendly, the score in the match was already devastating … Not to mention the fact that the girl opposed the goalkeeper: the opponent could be saved in such a situation. But much more important, apparently, for the player was to keep the gate dry.

By the way, after this episode, the Muscovites did not stop either – and in the 90th minute they scored the final, 11th goal against Lokomotiv, forgetting about all decency.
