Levski will pay hundreds of thousands to Spartak and Ural for refusing friendly matches
The Bulgarian “Levski” will pay the Moscow “Spartak” and the Yekaterinburg “Ural” about 763 thousand rubles for refusing to participate in friendly matches with the teams of the MIR RPL, informs sportal.bg with reference to the Bulgarian edition “Tema Sport”.
The Bulgarians violated the terms of the agreements by refusing to take part in the matches. Ural will receive compensation, which is about 382 thousand rubles, from the head coach of the club from Sofia Stanimir Stoilov and the executive director of Levski Ivaylo Ivkov.
The Levski match with Krasnodar did not take place at the initiative of the RPL club, so the Russian team will pay the fine. This money will cover Levski’s penalty against Spartak.
The Russian football season will resume on February 22 with the matches of the FONBET Cup of Russia, and on March 3 the WORLD RPL will continue. Watch live broadcasts of RPL matches and the Cup of the country on the Match TV federal channel and the thematic channels of the holding, as well as on matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru websites.
