There was no lack of details relating to the injury of the Bayern goalkeeper and the German national team Manuel Neuer.

The 36-year-old goalkeeper broke his leg while skiing in December. The player was diagnosed with an open fracture of the tibia and fibula.

According to Bild, things could have been worse had it not been for the emergency services nearby with a rescue helicopter, which provided timely assistance to the footballer. The German boot provided compression to prevent swelling around the injury. The German wound was bleeding heavily. Due to possible complications, the operation would have been postponed, recovery in this case would have taken longer.
