Livingston goalkeeper Ivan Konovalov may move to the Greek or Israeli championships, the player’s agent Jamal Akaev told Metaratings.ru.
— Your client Ivan Konovalov performs in Scotland. Is there pressure on him due to the current situation?
– There is no pressure in the club or from the fans on Ivan. There were certain everyday problems, such as opening a bank account. But Vanya is a serious, quick-witted guy who knows how to set the right goals and go towards them. Therefore, he overcomes such small problems with dignity.
– Is he thinking of staying in Europe or will he be ready to consider offers from Russia?
– Unfortunately, he does not get as much playing time as we would like – this season he has played 10 matches in all competitions. Therefore, we periodically communicate with some clubs. There are options in Greece, in Israel, but so far there are discrepancies in the details between the clubs.
Konovalov, 28, has been with Livingston since January 2022. This season he has conceded 15 goals in 10 Livingston games in all competitions.
