Former CSKA football player Evgeny Aldonin said that he would like to see the work of Alexander Mostovoy as the head coach of the MIR club of the Russian Premier League.

– Which of the coaches would you like to see in the RPL? Kolyvanov is a very interesting figure. I would have looked with curiosity at Mostovoy as a coach in the RPL. His project is interesting: Alexander spent a long period of his career abroad, so it’s interesting who he would attract from specialists to his headquarters.

Everyone will get their chance in due time. But I’m looking forward only to my appointment as head coach, – said Aldonin “Championship”.

Mostovoy played for Spartak, Benfica, Strasbourg, Celta and Alaves. He is a two-time champion of the USSR, winner of the USSR Football Federation Cup, winner of the Portuguese Cup and finalist of the French Cup.
