I think that under the current system, Russian players have enough chances to break into the main team. Everything depends only on them. Someday the ban on Russian football will end. Perhaps by that time we will see more high-quality young football players,” Kalachev told RB Sport.
From the 2022/2023 season, the RPL has a limit on legionnaires according to the formula “13 + 12”: in the application of each team, you can have 13 foreign players and at least 12 players with a Russian passport. However, no more than eight foreign players can be on the field at the same time.
