Neymar will be a witness in the case of the sale of illegal jewelry
Brazil and PSG striker Neymar will be called as a witness in a case of illegal sale of precious items.
Neymar’s name appears on the bill as a buyer of illicit jewelry allegedly sold to him by Eduardo Rodríguez Silva, who is one of three people arrested as part of the investigation.
As noted by the police, they want to hear Neymar as a witness to find out “whether he really received these jewelry, whether he has them and what is their value.” The check itself bears the player’s name and shows an amount of around 19,500 euros.
In addition, the police want to know if Neymar knew where the jewelry that Eduardo Rodriguez Silva allegedly sold him came from.
