Bayer Leverkusen striker Serdar Azmoun is more likely to move to Marseille, according to Sport24.
It is noted that the initiator of the transition of the 28-year-old forward is the current sports director of the French club, Javier Ribalta, who is well acquainted with Azmun from his work at Zenit. The amount of the transfer could be around 10 million euros.
Azmoun joined Bayer Leverkusen from Zenit last January, signing a contract until the summer of 2027. As part of the Aspirin, the Iranian played 24 matches, scored one goal and made three assists.
The Iranian has been playing for Zenit since 2019. As part of the “blue-white-blue” he became a four-time champion of Russia, won the Cup and twice – the Super Cup of the country.
