Spartak beat Rostov in the Winline match of the RPL Winter Cup

Moscow “Spartak” in a penalty shootout defeated “Rostov” in the match of the pre-season tournament Winline Winter Cup RPL.

The main time of the meeting in Abu Dhabi ended with the score 0:0. In the penalty shootout, the Red-Whites were stronger – 2:1. Egor Golenkov, Dmitry Poloz, Stepan Melnikov and Viktor Melekhin did not realize their attempts at the Rostovites. Spartak goalkeeper Alexander Selikhov parried three shots. At Spartak, Nikita Chernov and Daniil Zorin did not realize their attempts. Newcomer Tomas Tavares made his debut for the capital’s team.

According to the rules of the tournament, Spartak scored two points, Rostov – one.

Winline The RPL Winter Cup takes place in Abu Dhabi (UAE) from February 2 to 11, Sochi and Krasnodar also participate in the tournament, which will play each other on Friday. On February 6, Rostov will meet with Sochi, Spartak – with Krasnodar.
