‘I don’t see how this is possible’ – Klopp surprised at Chelsea’s transfer market spending
Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp has spoken out about Chelsea spending during the January transfer window.
“I don’t say anything without my lawyer—it’s a joke. I don’t understand this part of the business – what you can do, what you can’t do.
I don’t understand how this is possible, but it’s not for me to explain how it works. I hope you all know exactly how it works, and then everything is in order, – said Klopp.
Chelsea have signed midfielder Enzo Fernandez from Portugal’s Benfica for €121m (£107m). According to the Independent, the London club’s total spending over the winter was around £323m.
