Spartak striker Quincy Promes will be ready for the resumption of the season, Nikita Bazhenov, manager of the Red-Whites for players on loan, told Metaratings.ru.
Promes misses the first two winter training camps of Spartak in the UAE for personal reasons. The player is preparing in Moscow with the youth squad of the Red-Whites. The media reported that the footballer could go with the main team of Spartak to the third training camp in Turkey, which will be held from February 14 to 20.
– Spartak has already played three friendly matches. From the fan’s point of view, is it possible to draw any long-term conclusions about the readiness of the team, or does it mean nothing yet?
– Each fan evaluates for himself the degree of importance of a particular match. I will say on my own behalf, as a player, that friendly matches are, first of all, laying the foundation. Connections are played, certain coaching ideas, schemes, newcomers in some teams. Demanding results from a team under stress is strange. Well, probably no one is asking for it. Watching the players in the moment, not judging by the form, is a pleasure. We don’t know if there was a training, maybe they ran on the sand or against the background of fatigue.

The result is not the score at the training camp, but the way the team approached the official matches. Then it is already possible to draw a conclusion about the preparation, about the form of the players, including new ones, according to the combinations.
