Clermont will be able to redeem the transfer of Belgian defender Maximiliano Kofrier on loan from Spartak for 4 million euros, according to Metaratings.ru.
It is noted that the buyout option is not mandatory for Clermont, but only a priority. The French club is interested in keeping Kofrier, but with a limited financial budget, Clermont will find it extremely difficult to do so.
The 25-year-old football player intends to continue his career in a club from the top 5 European leagues.
Kofriye became a Spartak player in August 2021. He moved from the Belgian Saint-Truiden. In total, the defender made 26 appearances for the Red-Whites in all competitions. His contract with the Muscovites is calculated until the end of June 2025. Coffrier has made 16 appearances for Clermont this season without scoring.
Spartak participates in the RPL Winter Cup Winline and previously beat Rostov in a penalty shootout (0:0, 2:1), and also defeated Krasnodar with a score of 4:0. The match against Sochi will take place on February 10 and will start at 19:00 (Moscow time). Watch live broadcasts of all Winline games of the RPL Winter Cup with comments by Konstantin Genich and Dmitry Shnyakin on Match TV and MATCH PREMIER channels, as well as on matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru websites.
