Capello called the appointment of Kerzhakov in the Cypriot club a good option

The appointment of Alexander Kerzhakov to the Cypriot club Karmiotissa is a good option for developing his coaching career, former coach of the Russian national team Fabio Capello told RBC Sport.
Kerzhakov signed a contract with the Cypriot “Karmiotissa” for 1.5 years.
– Congratulations to Alexander on his appointment. I wish him success in his new post. The Cypriot Championship is a good option for career development, there is an opportunity to take the club to European competitions and prove yourself there,” Capello said.
Karmiotissa, after 22 matches, is in 10th place in the standings of the Cypriot championship with 23 points.
In the 2021/22 season, Kerzhakov served as head coach at PARI NN Nizhny Novgorod. Under his leadership, the club took 11th place in the Russian championship.
