Successful work at Spartak Moscow has become a springboard for Domenico Tedesco in his coaching career, according to former Red-White defender Andrey Yeshchenko.

On Wednesday, 37-year-old Tedesco was appointed head coach of the Belgian national team. The agreement with the specialist is valid until 2024. The German specialist replaced the Spaniard Roberto Martinez.

– I’m very happy for Domenico! I wish him good luck with the Belgian national team. I am glad that he has become a sought-after specialist. I hope that he will achieve excellent results with this team. Let’s see, time will tell what will happen. He proved himself with a good job at Spartak. He achieved results in Russia, which is why he was called to Leipzig, now the Belgian team. Everything is not just like that, – Yeshchenko said to the “Championship”.

From 2019 to 2021, Tedesco headed Spartak. The specialist won the RPL silver medals with the “red and white”.
