He treats everyone positively, constantly looking for contact with people, knows how to find an approach. I remember and liked his expression at a press conference that if he had been told three years ago that he would call up a guy without school, who worked as a bartender, to the national team, he would not have believed it.
Sychevoi made his debut for the Russian national team on November 17, 2022 in a meeting against Tajikistan, spending the entire second half on the field and not scoring.
Sychevoi scored 14 goals in the current Russian championship and shares the first place in the scorer race with Quincy Promes from Spartak.
