Wings of the Soviets forward Vladimir Sychevoi told Metaratings.ru about his stepfather, who was involved in his upbringing.

Sychevoi moved from Orenburg to the Samara team in the winter transfer window. In the second part of the season, the 26-year-old plans to play under the name Pisarsky.

– Tell us more about the father, whose last name you take. How did he sink into your soul, for which he is especially grateful? Did he take you to football?

– He came to our family when I was two years old, or maybe less. I don’t know how, but I remember the moment itself, how he came to our apartment. Although at this age, nothing is remembered. Since then, he has been with us, helping his mother raise us. He didn’t take me to football, because there wasn’t much place to drive – I played with the boys in the yard. And in all other moments he raised me like a father and completely replaced him for me. Maybe he brought up not so hard, but on the contrary, his kindness was remembered.

What is your relationship with your biological father? Was it not announced after you became famous?

No, we are not talking now. I know him. He came once every three or four years when I was little, then stopped. Once I went to him, but that was a very long time ago. He has his own family, children, his own life. We have our own.

Sychevoi scored 14 goals in the current Russian championship and shares the first place in the scorers race with Quincy Promes from Spartak.

The 2022/23 season in Russia will resume with the matches of the FONBET Cup of Russia in February, the meetings of the 18th round of the WORLD RPL will be held in early March. Broadcasts of games can be watched on the Match TV federal channel, as well as on the holding’s thematic channels and on the matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru websites.
