Real Madrid win the Club World Cup title for the fifth time
Real Madrid once again became the winner of the Club World Cup, beating Saudi Al-Hilal (5:3) in the decisive match of the tournament.
As part of the Spanish team, Federico Valverde and Vinicius Junior scored doubles, Karim Benzema scored another goal.
Legionnaires scored for Al-Hilal – the Malian Moussa Marega and the author of the double, the Argentinean Luciano Vietto, who has experience playing for Atlético Madrid.
For Real Madrid, the title was the fifth in club history, having previously won the Club World Cup in 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018. No one has won this tournament more often than the “royal club”.
Earlier in the match for the bronze of the tournament, which was held in Morocco, the Brazilian Flamengo turned out to be stronger than the Egyptian Al-Ahly (4:2).
